Damon didn’t push the issue as she knew if Hope was going to say anymore she would of done he at least had learnt that about her .
With all the events unfolding in the last day they all realised they hadn’t slept so they thanked Pam for the food and went back to there rooms .
Zach read a little of the book Hope had given them why Damon showered then they crashed .
In there room Autumn and Hope lay awake chatting.
“ Do you think we can trust them?” Autumn asked Hope .
“Maybe I don’t know but Pam seems to so that must mean something “.
“They really don’t know how important they are hopefully by reading the book will answer there questions “ Hope said .
“Or give them more “ Autumn said .
“ I’m exhausted let’s try and sleep “ Hope said to Autumn and she nodded in agreement.
It was about 5pm when Hope woke she been to sleep for about 7 hours that was unusual for her to sleep that long she looked over to Autumn who was still sleeping.
So she quietly got up and dressed and crept out the door.
She entered the bar it was empty she grabbed a large bottle of cheap vodka from behind the bar and when she turned round she realised she wasn’t alone Damon was sitting in the corner reading the book she gave them .
He suddenly felt her presence and glanced up .
She approached the table and sat down.
“Hey “ she said .
“Hey “ he replied .
“ You been to sleep?” She asked.
“ Yeah woke about an hour ago “ He said .
“A lot to take in ?” She asked .
“ Yeah we have always knew there was something but not exactly what but this helps a lot .Do you know what happened to our parents?” He asked .
“I know they were killed , I don’t know who by but I think probably because all the time your mum was around no one could locate you guys she would of blocked it with angel symbols they are very powerful “ Hope said .
Hope suddenly remembered her own painful memories of her parents killed for that reason she looked at Damon and she could see the same pain in his face and eyes .
“Maybe “ he replied .
Considering she didn’t like him when she first met him that had definitely changed now he was growing on her.
She knew it was bad idea but the words still came out her mouth .
“Ok I’ve got to find the Master before he kills more people but afterwards me and Autumn will find out what happened for you and get you answers“ .
Damon smiled at her and what a lovely smile he had she had tried to ignore it till now but she would definitely of had s*x with him if she had met him on the street but the way he made her feel inside that was new and needed to stop she needed to focus .She did not have time for this .
With that as if right on queue Zach and Autumn came in to the bar chatting away Hope wished she could be more like Autumn she was so friendly and sociable with people Hope just couldn’t be she knew it was fear of letting people in but to be honest that door was open now with these guys. Some how they had broke the lock and snuck in .
“Hey guys “ Autumn said .
Hope filled the guys in on her and Damon’s conversation.
They all ordered brekkie again Damon and Hope laughed as yet again they have ordered the same .
They were having a full English and Autumn and Zach were having muesli it was weird how much they had in common.
Half way through brekkie they started discussing plans for today and finding the Master when a stranger entered the bar .
Suddenly Damon noticed Hopes demeanour change completely and she sniffed the air .
A man came in and sat at the bar and Pam who was standing chatting to them went to walk over to serve him when Hope got up and grabbed her arm “ I’ve got this “ she said .
Pam looked at her concern on her face instinct told her something was wrong so she nodded in agreement and let Hope pass her.
She stood and approached the bar “ can i help you ?” She asked.
“ I need a drink” the stranger smirked .
Hope opened the link to Autumn in her head who now also became serious as her head snapped up from and she was intently watching the exchange at the bar .
“What’s going on ?” Damon asked noticing the tension building .
Before she could answer Hope had the stranger round the neck “ why are you here ?“ she asked now in a threatening tone .
“ To warn you he can get to you where ever or when ever he wants “ the stranger replied laughing .
“ Where is he ?” Hope demanded .
“Like I tell you that “ he said smirking at her.
“ Tell me or you will suffer like you never thought you could “.
But quickly the vampire slipped her grasp grabbed a stake from inside his jacket and staked himself .
Suddenly his body disintegrated to ash and lay on the ground .
“ s**t “ Hope said .
She turned to Autumn forgetting the boys momentarily “ why is the barrier down get it up “ Hope had tension in her voice now.
Autumn nodded and was up on her feet chanting Latin and gesturing with her hands .
Hope turned round suddenly remembering the boys who were both just sitting speechless at the table .
“Ok I think I owe you that explanation now “ Hope said .
