They could see the big farmhouse in the distance Autumn slowed the vehicle down so they could scout the place out as they drove slowly up the long bumpy dirty track leading up to the house . They come to a stop .
Hope jumped out the truck first and went round to the boots she lifts the lid and pulled out a selection of weapons she handed the boys a gun each and ammo magazines.
“We got our own guns thanks “ Damon said .
“ Not like these “ Hope laughed “ these use ultra violet bullets lethal to anything supernatural . I take it you know how to kill vampires head or heart .I will go and scout the nest see if the master is here, do you think you can get any humans out and away from here “ she asked .
The boys nodded in reply .
“ Do not try and take the master down you will die “ .
“ If we can’t what makes you think you can ?” Damon asked .
Hope smiled “ this is what I was born for “ .
She went round to Autumn and opened there telepathic link .
Been a long time since she had done that .Autumn was reluctant to do anything magical since last time and if she does it’s small but Hope didn’t want the boys knowing what she was it was to soon and she didn’t trust then even if Pam did .
Can you hear me Autumn she could tell by her expression she could .
“We need to try and communicate like this again if you find it to much tell me we can sever the link . Go set yourself up out of sight I may need your help to boost my strength .”
“You know I can’t do too much you can’t fully channel me “ Autumn replied fear evident in her thoughts .
“ I won’t put you at risk trust me but I may need a bit so get out of the sight of the boys “
Autumn nodded .
She set a protective circle at the back of the barn sat down in it and started her chants focusing on Hope .
Hope felt the power starting to surge through there was no power like it when they connected and she channeled Autumn but she understood she couldn’t go all the way not after last time .
But even just linking with her mind was enough of a boost to give her an upper hand .
Her eyes started to glow she could see them in the reflection of the car window so she quickly gained control if she started to power up now the boys would know she was different she would wait till they were out of sight .
“Let’s go “ she called to the boys .
She walked up the lane to the farmhouse followed by the boys and she went up to the door of the house the sun was nearly up now the perfect time to fight vampires .
The boys now behind her .
“ Where’s Autumn? ”Zach enquired .
“ She’s ok she’s doing her job we gotta do ours “ Hope replied .
Zach looked confused but said no more .
“ So what’s the plan ? “ Damon asked but before he could say anymore Hope had booted the door in and was inside the house .
The first vampire came she shot it in the head it dropped to the floor .
The next one from the side she shot that then they came thick and fast but no master .
Damon fought a few and Zach to then they heard the screams “ get down to the basement and save the hostages “ Hope shouted .
They run down stairs just in time to see two vampires trying to start killing hostages.
Zach shot them both Damon had gone to the cages that held the other hostages and shot the lock off using his own gun then he started shouting and guiding the hostages to go back up .
“We need to get turn out side in the sun light “ he said to Zach .
Damon went first When the boys both got to the top of the stairs with the people Hope stood at the entrance guns by her sides and a good sixty bodies filled the floor she looked triumphant ..
She took a deep breath in she could smell no more vampires and sadly no Master.
She communicated to Autumn what had happened and to meet them at the car as they were done .
The boys sorted all the people out and got them away telling them to run and not ask questions .
None of the hostages wanted answers they just wanted to escape .
Some did thank the boys but mostly fear had over come them so most just legged it .
When they finished sorting out everyone they returned to the car to see Autumn waiting .
“ Job done but no Master but he was definitely here this was a big nest and there was a lot of hostages they only do that when the Master is present “ Hope said “ normally nests stay small as a rule “.
“ Don’t worry we will get him I promise.” Autumn said putting her hand on Hopes shoulder to calm her .
“We needed to clear the bodies “ Hope said she went to the boot of the car and grabbed a petrol can she went into the house doused it in petrol .
She linked with Autumn “when I light the fire boost it a bit with magic we need to burn it to the ground “.
“Ok” Autumn acknowledged she walked behind the truck and when Hope told her she waved her hand muttered a latin word and flames engulfed the building behind Hope who was now walking back to them .
“How much petrol did you use ?” Zach asked .
Hope grinned “enough”.
“Are we don’t now” Autumn asked .
Hope nodded “ yep let’s get back I’m hungry and horny “ she laughed glancing at Damon .
“ Perhaps you could give me a hand with one ?” She asked .
Damon looked so uncomfortable.
“ Getting me a burger “ she continues then laughs then they all laugh apart from Damon who manages a smirk .
“Let go “ Hope says .
They all jump back in the truck .
Leaving the building burning away behind them.
