Chapter 5Anthony wasn’t going to need glasses. He was going to need crutches, a boot, and pain medication. His prescribed dose was smaller than that which he’d been getting at the hospital, but the goal was to wean himself off of it as his wounds started to heal. If he needed a refill of his prescription, all he had to do was call and talk to a doctor about his current pain levels. If need be, he could set up an appointment with his primary care doctor to help manage his pain. Funnily enough, Anthony didn’t have a primary care doctor. He hadn’t been to the doctor in years. It was expensive, and he wasn’t about to start going, now.
