The house was small. It didn’t matter how far Samuel’s father went; he was screaming loud enough that they could hear him. Not even a full minute had passed before they knew just who Samuel’s father was screaming at. Gabriel’s father. Gabriel went pale, instantly. He looked at Samuel, his eyes painfully wide. He didn’t know what to do. His entire body was taken with fear to the point where he was almost trembling. This was the end. As far as Gabriel could see, his future stopped right there. This was it.
