Chapter 13As the months went by, they got less and less dreadful. At first, Anthony had needed medication to help him get to sleep. The months continued on, and he was sleeping on his own. Therapy started to be comfortable. His own skin started to feel comfortable. He didn’t think the cravings would ever really go away, but he was learning how to fight them. It wasn’t just the distractions, anymore, either. It was a real understanding of how messed up his thoughts had been at the time. Once he’d realized that, he started to change them. He started interacting with people. He started learning life skills. Once, Anthony would have scoffed at the idea of learning how to sew.
