The wind swirl wildly as footsteps could be heard on a lonely path way. There she was running as fast as she could despite the fact that she was whined and losing her breath. The pup in her hand hadn't woken up and she felt that was better than hearing it cry. She had become a mother overnight and had responsibilities of taking care of it despite knowing that it could be dangerous. Her life was complicated and this pup was making it more unbearable yet an unforseen love made her want to protect it. Fear gripped her as she wasn't thinking straight, hoping that no one was trailing on her. There questions she wished to ask this pup's biological mother but it was late as this girl guessed that wolf was dead by now.
Her dazzy eyes were becoming blurry from tiredness yet she chose not stop but keep moving. The pup furs tickled her as it looked like a pet in her hand though she felt it could morph into a human like its mother when the time reaches. It looked adorable and enticing that anyone would want to adopt it at such situation without thinking twice. This was the first time this lady was protecting something mostly what doesn't belong to her. She had gotten to the road located at the exit of the woods and geared up with all the strength she had. Her eyes weren't focused on the path she was taking neither did she notice the car driving towards her which almost knocked her down and just brushed at path of her feet. Her legs staggered back as she fell limply with the pup in her hands, her eyes gazed at the pup who had gotten a scratch on its leg and it made her flinch as she could tell that possibly, she wouldn't be able to fulfil her promise.
She was laying on the hard ground weak as she pressed this pup to her breast panting heavily, desiring not to let go as she could feel its tend pulse and then rolled her eyes at the car which lights flooded her face in the dark. Her withering eyes had tears clouded in them as she pondered within her mind why she suddenly chose to help someone she knew nothing about. Her ears tingled at unwelcome sounds as she couldn't decided her fate but hoped to survive because of the pup in her hand. Her encounter with that wolf made her realize she had to live at all cost and be a mother to this pup. Her numb fingers flink as her shaky lips tried speaking but couldn't while her ears were becoming deaf. Only her eyes were still active and the last thing they could remember was a pair of brown boots pacing to her.

The sun was suspended in the sky as it shone mildly on anything it comes across. Its ray trail through a window as it rested on a guest covering her in its warmth. She whimpered, rolled over the bed and then squint her eyes as though a thought crossed her mind. Her hands suddenly searched her body and then check up after realizing something strange. It took a while for her blurry vision to become clear as she noted she was in a room. Her head was aching yet chose to rise intending to know where she was and what happened last night. If she could recall, she had a pup in her hand but it wasn't anymore.
"Oh no...Stacy..." She wailed at herself and then made an attempt to reach the door despite knowing her body was still weak to make a move. All that rang in her head was to protect the pup. Her feet stumbled outside as her eyes scanned the place. It was quite a huge house which she guessed was a mansion as it had hallways and so many rooms however, they were void of people. Scampering and having difficulties to hold her balance, she banged her back on a wall to her and winced. Her body was shivering as she believed she had failed once again. She tried to fight the pains but couldn't as she slide limply to the ground and heaved a sigh.
That wolf of last night stopped her from harming herself by giving her a responsibility out of the blue but now, that she thinks of it, it was best she continues with her intended plan. Life was too hard-on her to think of living. Her thoughts were eluded when she heard footsteps troding from a distance. She narrowed her eyes as those footsteps felt familiar. A gasp left her lips as she rose up at once and began to race towards where the sound was coming from. Her instinct led her to a study room which could fit for a public library. Though, she didn't waste in time in evaluating such a place as the pup was what she searches for.
While rampaging the place for the pup, her eyes suddenly met an hourglass which was resting on a table and got her tensed. Wondering what such a thing was doing here at this era, furthermore, she noted everything here was outdated, including weapons of the ancient times. Intrigued, she made an attempt to touch the hourglass and an invisible door sprang open below, though an inch from her. It made a stairway leading downstairs and she hastily followed that part. She had almost gotten to the designated place which this stairway was leading her to when someone suddenly grabbed her shoulder and hauled her backwards, until she got outside. Her eyes widened with fear as she shoved her face to take a look at who stopped her halfway. Stunned, her lips couldn't utter a word as she could only stare at the man who got her heart skipping at first sight. The ground shut back and this stranger took the nervous lady by the wrist, took her towards the window and spat;
"Where's his mother?"
"Mother?" She repeated staring at him dumbfounded and squirming inside. His grip on her wrist tighten as his eyes blazed at her as though to burn her.
"Where is aria...my bride?"
