As soon as Craig woke up the next morning I confronted him about where he had taken my mum all he said "was She got what she deserved after making that comment to me about you. And you got what you deserved as well take that as a lesson don't you dare ever get in the way again otherwise I will make it worse for you and your mum even more than what I did she is out back in the barn if you must know"
As soon as Craig said that, I ran out as fast as I could to the barn to see Mum. She actually didn't seem that bad in herself, but what I didn't know was that he didn't. Touch her. She had no bruises, but she seemed shaken up, like she was in shock. As soon as she saw me, she ran up to me and hugged me. "Jess, honey, are you okay? I was so worried about you all night. I tried to come down and see you, but Craig wouldn't let me until he heard you go to your room. Then he finally let me out of the bedroom, but he threatened me and told me that if I went to see you, then he would make sure you couldn't leave the house.
I didn't want to risk him doing that again. I love you so much, honey, and I'm sorry. I should have listened to everyone when they told me not to go with him." We need to get hold of Jasmine, Alice, and Justin to tell them what has happened and how we need to go sooner than planned. Try and grab your phone and message Jasmine and tell her we need them now more than ever.
I did just that as what Mum asked me to. I managed to grab my phone from the hiding place where Craig hides it. He doesn't think I know where he hides it, but I do. He only allows me to have my phone when I go to school so he can keep an eye on me and make sure I don't skip school or any of my lessons. That is where the twins come into it; they report back to Craig to let him know where I am and what I am doing. That is why I don't like the twins. Their parents, though, aren't like that; they don't report to Craig about us. Unlike them, you see, the twins' parents are on the board of governors at the school, so we do see them quite a lot, but the twins are never mean to me when their parents are around. It is when they are off or not at school that it all starts with them.
