During the drive home, I told Alice and Justin about mine and Jasmine's plan to try and get Mum and me away from Craig. Alice agreed and thought it was a good plan, but Justin wasn't too sure, though he agreed to help us. They did say to see if we could wait only a month, just a month more, as they also have a plan themselves, but they didn't tell us. They just said to trust them, and I did. I feel safe with them, and I do trust them.
We also told them about the twins and how we think that they are relaying messages back to Craig about us and how we think he has been telling the twins to hurt us at school. I told them about my phone and how Craig will flip once he finds out my phone is broken; he will surely do something, I'm sure of it. I hope Mum is okay, I said to Alice, and Alice replied to me, saying that my mum is fine; she was just very worried. Craig wouldn't allow her to go with them to find me, as he made out that the police told them to stay at home and wait to hear from us, but Craig knows what happened. He pretends to worry about me around the place, but as soon as they left, I bet he would have most probably told Mum "good riddance."
We arrived home after 20 minutes. As soon as the car pulled up on the driveway, I saw Mum rush out of the house, crying and shaking. I bet Craig has hurt her again or has said something to upset her. As soon as Mum saw me, she gave me a big hug and whispered in my ear, "I'm glad you're okay, baby. Where have you been?" I have been worried sick. I tried to call you, and so did Craig. We had the police here to see if they could find you. I'm sorry, Mum. My phone got broken and we got attacked by the twins after school they waited for us outside and hid behind the bushes As soon as they saw us they called us over and said they said something to us, then they attacked us. We tried to stick up for ourselves, but it was useless.
Doesn't matter about that now; as long as you both are okay, that's weird, Mum, saying that, I thought. Alice, Justin, thank you for finding Natalie and Jasmine. I'm glad you are okay. We will be heading inside now. Thank you both again for helping. As soon as we said our goodbyes, we headed inside, and the nightmare had only just begun. I thought this night was now over, but how wrong was I.
