Stumbling through the front door to the cottage, Daniella tried to be as inconspicuous as she could. Although not drunk, the vodka had made her a little unsteady on her feet. At least Nik had had the foresight to give her his key. With all the grace of an elephant, she climbed the stairs and tried to find her room, the darkness of the early morning disorientating her. She dropped her things by the guest room door and removed her dress, glad to be rid of the tight fabric. It was a gorgeous outfit but certainly not built for comfort. Rifling through the drawers in the dark, she searched for more comfortable pajamas but came up trumps. It didn't make any sense.
