Daniella was never particularly fond of having to wait. When she wanted something, she wanted it there and then. And tonight she wanted Andrei. After calling him, she had paced her apartment. Flitting between checking herself scrupulously in the mirror and fixing the throw and cushions on the sofa, she found the minutes trickling by excruciatingly slow. A current of anticipation rippled through her as she craved seeing his face, even though it had only been hours since she'd seen him last. Andrei was like a drug; no matter how much easier it would be not to want him, she couldn't help it.
