Keira's POV
Alden called me the day after Kaelan left for his business trip. "Keira, I have been thinking about what you said. About the shares and everything… I want to make you a different offer."
"I am listening," I said, though I had no intention of accepting anything less than what I had already demanded.
"What if instead of transferring all my shares, I give you half the ruling power of Stormfang Pack? We can co-lead together and rebuild what we had."
"Okay, I will consider it," I said after a beat. "But I want to discuss this in person at Stormfang Pack headquarters with the elders present so everything is official and documented."
"Of course," he said, relief flooding his voice. "Tomorrow? I can arrange an emergency council meeting."
"Tomorrow works," I agreed,
