  Keira's POV   During Kaelan's business trip, a restless unease stayed with me that I could not quite shake. We had our scheduled video calls the first few days, three times daily like we promised, and hearing his voice and seeing his face had been the only thing keeping me sane.   But then on the fourth day, he missed our morning call. I waited, checking my phone constantly and telling myself he was probably just in a meeting that ran long.
