“So, are we going in, or are we going to stand here in front of the entrance forever?” I grimaced and slumped my shoulders. “Fine, follow me.” He had to show his ID to the doorman, but as this was a day time visit, the guy didn’t push for too many details. I’d made friends with most of them anyway. Cold drinks on hot days and sharing my mom’s homemade sweets with them had taken me a long way. Longer than my other colleagues giving them cigarettes.
