“You said that Ms. Gatlin was kicked out?” Lauren set down the glass of red wine in her hand, listening intently to the report from the other end of the phone.
“She’s currently outside the Molan villa. Mr. Molan’s car passed by, but he didn’t let her in.”
Lauren narrowed her eyes and asked, “Have you found out the connection between Leah and Enzo yet?”
“Currently, we only know that Leah was sentenced for intentional assault. Enzo had someone pull her out and hired a lawyer to overturn the case. The case is currently being retried, and the possibility of acquittal is extremely high!”
“Enzo isn’t one to meddle in other people's business. There must be other reasons for helping a stranger like this!” Although Lauren hadn’t interacted much with Enzo, she understood his way of doing things.
