Leah’s POV.
I got a call from Northon Hospital, letting me know my test results were ready for pickup. Since I didn’t have much going on at Molan Group, I took the morning off to spend some time with Elisa before heading out for the report.
As I stepped out of the hospital with the papers in hand, hurried footsteps pounded behind me. I turned to see a burly man in a baseball cap, half his face hidden and eyes locked on me with a fierce intensity.
My heart raced. He was coming straight for me.
Robbery? Kidnapping? Murder? Did he seriously think he could pull something like this at a hospital?
