Leah had no idea about Enzo's simmering anger. Right now, she was too caught up worrying about how to talk to Elisa in a way that wouldn't hurt her but would also gently teach her not to lie.
"Elisa, I owe you an apology," Leah said.
"Why?" Elisa tilted her head, clearly confused as to why Leah would say that.
"Because I shouldn't have lied. It was wrong, so I need to apologize to you." Leah watched Elisa's expression carefully before continuing, "So, do you think you can also promise me that from now on, you'll try to be an honest girl?"
Elisa's head dropped, and tears rolled onto her hands.
