But to her surprise, the lawyer reassured her, saying it wouldn't take long to turn things around. She wouldn't even need to appear in court but just needed to wait for the good news.
After the lawyer left, Leah couldn't help but feel a mix of joy and irony. She thought back to all those times she'd tried to appeal while in prison, but each attempt ended in failure. However, for Enzo, it seemed as easy as flipping a switch.
