Before parting the previous Sunday (with a kiss in the vendors’ parking, which garnered a number of whistles and catcalls from other exhibitors) we agreed to follow and friend each other, which for a number of reasons we hadn’t already done. But there were now numerous new pictures of us—separately and together—circulating, which it would be advantageous to share. Also: “I’d like to change my relationship status.” I said it through a haze of blind fear.
