“There’s a nice one here.” He tapped the GPS and held it up for Lyle to peek at. “It’s a Harrington’s.” Lyle gave the GPS a glance for no other reason but to appease Rafe, and then shrugged. “We can hardly afford a Harrington’s.” “You’d think so,” Rafe said. “But this one’s got a special rate for tonight only. They must have booked something in and then had it cancel last minute.” “Oh, yeah?” A Harrington’s would be nice. The bed they’d slept in the previous night had been hard and oddly lumpy. Harrington’s were usually pretty posh. The commercials he’d seen had made reference to some kind of ‘Angelic Bed’ as well as all the amenities a place like that usually crowed over: free WiFi, complimentary breakfasts, indoor pools, and fancy shampoos.
