b***h, I warned you but you wouldn't listen raymond spat as he was hitting his wife Miriam.The neighbors surrounded the house all itching for a new gossip, but no one dared to enter . raymond was a well known gangster in A slums, always stealing and bullying.he was feared in that area.it was told that his parents died in a car accident resulting to him being an orphan,his parents relatives seized all the properties worth billions,and left him to fend for himself at the young age of 7.the young raymond was left hungry, angry and cold on the streets, resulting to him joining a gang just to find food to eat.he started from a small time gangster, stealing foods, cigarettes, beers etc from stores to a big time gangster,robbing wealthy merchants passing by.the government refused to develop,turned a blind eye to the happenings in that area .due to that reason many gangs were formed in slum A. Miriam was sold to raymond after a transaction between him and Miriam's father Mr Adams a well known drug dealer in exchange for empty warehouses for storage of illegal drugs.miriam a nineteen year old beautiful girl was forcefully married to raymond.he abused Miriam in every way possible, coming back drunk everyday to hit her,raping her every night, poor Miriam had tried to report,but each time raymond gets the wind of it the beating increases everyday.it finally seemed that fate was harsh to Miriam when she got pregnant,but she was unwilling."congratulations it's a girl"the gynaecologist congratulated her.miriam busted out crying, the doctor was surprised but having seeing distressed patients she advised "dear,I don't know what is going on in your life but remember that a life is growing in you and maybe God sent it for a purpose of change in your life "doctor Julie advised."just maybe....just maybe Miriam muttered to herself.
