Chapter 35 Police Investigation
Mira's POV
The next day, I woke up early, my nerves on edge still reeling from the events of the previous day. Uff the embarrassment that I must have to face today in front of Dheeraj! Also I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had settled in my stomach. The thought of the police investigating the Coven's death was terrifying to me. I knew that I had nothing to do with it, but I also knew that the evidence could easily point in my direction.
I kept replaying the events of my previous encounter with Coven in my head, trying to remember every detail, every word that had been said. I knew that I had to be careful, that I couldn't give the police any reason to suspect me.
