The bell rang dismissing us to lunch. I brought my own lunch today, so I walked towards my locker. As I was putting in my combination, I was hugged from behind. I quickly jumped and turned around.
"Geez, Logan!" I shouted, a hand over my chest, "You nearly gave me a heart attack."
He started laughing, "I'm sorry Mia, I forgot you're so jumpy," he said as he came over to hug me.
"It's fine," I said as I pecked him on the lips. He smiled and let me get my lunch from my locker.
As we started to the cafeteria, I heard a familiar voice shout from behind me. I turned around to see Mason jogging towards us.
"Mia, I haven't seen you all week," Mason said smirking.
Well, there's a reason you haven't, I thought to myself.
"Hi," was all I said.
"I've heard about you and Logan. I knew you weren't a thing back at lunch 2 weeks ago." Mason said as Logan's grip got tighter.
"Yeah, we are together now," Logan growled at him.
"Oh, but are you just dating, or do you have titles for each other?" Mason spat back.
"Titles?" I ask.
"Yeah, boyfriend or girlfriend titles?" Mason smirking, when Logan stayed silent. "Ha, that's what I thought. See you later Mia," Mason blew me a kiss, then walked out of the school.
I glanced up to see Logan looking angry. It seemed he was having a battle in his mind.
"Logan?" I ask as I lightly tapped his arm.
He looked down at me and dropped his arm around my waist, "Beautiful, I really wanted to make it special, but I don't want anyone else to have you," he said staring into my eyes.
"Logan," I start, but he cuts me off.
"No, these last two weeks have been amazing. I loved the numerous dates we've been on. You're perfect Mia. I need to call you more than the beautiful girl I date. So, let's make it official. Will you be my girlfriend?" He looks at me with pleading eyes.
"Of course!" I exclaim and give him a hug.
"Oh, thank god. How about going to lunch?" Logan says with his hand out.
"Lunch sounds like a fine idea," I said as I take his hand in mine.

"Hey everyone!" Logan says as we sit at our table, "Guess what?"
"What?" Everyone said in sync.
"We are official!" Logan says with excitement.
"Woah! You got married?" Alex piped up.
"What? No! We are just officially girlfriend and boyfriend and girlfriend!" He shouted and gave me a kiss. I love how excited he is. It makes me know how much he really likes me.
Everyone muttered some types of "oh cool," and went back to their own conversations.
"Why aren't they excited for us?" Logan asked as his expression fell.
"We've been dating for 2 weeks, and going strong. I think they just assumed we are boyfriend and girlfriend." I whispered back.
"Well, people should not assume," he said grumpily.
"Correct, but don't take this moment to heart," I said as I kissed his cheek.
"Okay,"
"So, since today is Friday, and the season is over, why don't we all get together after school?" Joey suggested.
Everyone agreed and decided to go to Joey's place around 4 this afternoon. Soon after, the bell rand dismissing us from lunch.
