He wasn't human, I was starved enough to have smelled his blood from here if he was. Even if I hadn't been, the way he stood there, it was clear he came here to see us. He wore dark travelling robes but he was too far away for me to know if he had spotted me already. I felt the feeling of dread come over me, we always knew this day would come.  "Protect the farm."
