I had done a little research on the black fog I had come to rely on for transportation. Conjuring it was not something I could just learn, that would take me years and I would need a master for it, one I was unlikely to find as they were all loyal to the original learner: King Alaric. Perhaps Wyatt could teach me some day, if I survive long enough to see him again.  Still, even though I could not conjure it, the same couldn’t be said for knowing how to control the fog. Once it was there, all you needed was a clear idea of where you wanted to go. For the experienced vampire, simply visualizing a point on a map was enough, but I was not experienced yet.
