Chapter...11

It is time to reveal my secrets or rather yours~unknown

There were thirteen files and this was the key to figure out what was going on. It was almost time for the next period so I saved the videos on my USB.

As I was leaving the library Scott walked out of the coaches office.

"Hey babe, you spent your break in the library?" He placed his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah I ju-" the words died in my throat when we saw detectives standing infront of Theo's locker.

It didn't look like they found anything important maybe it was because they didn't know where to look.

"Come on let's get to class"

Scott pulled me towards class but something just wasn't sitting right with me. I stopped in my tracks still looking at the cops. Scott turned around confused.

"Babe come on let's go we'll be late to class"

"I dont feel so good maybe I should go to the nurses office" I faked a smile and kissed him on the cheek. He furrowed his eyebrows then sighed in defeat.

"Is there something I need to know and you're not telling me?"I wiped my hands on my jeans.

"Maybe, I will tell you when I'm ready because right now I feel like I'm losing my mind"

Worry filled his eyes but he kept a brave face maybe he wanted to assure  me that I had a shoulder to lean on. He pulled me into a hug placing his head in the crook of my neck.

I kissed him one more time this time with feeling then ran to the bathroom. All the girls sneak out from these bathrooms.

I checked the bathrooms then made my way to the broken windows.

When I finally got out of the school building I called for an uber. When he arrived I gave him the location to Fallen Woods correctional institution.

That's where they were keeping Theo and I needed answers. When we finally reached the centre I gave him the money and made my way to the reception.

I signed in as a visitor and told them I wanted to see Theo. The receptionist called an officer when she saw who I wanted to see.

A white officer in his mid thirties, with a bushy beard walked out.

"Ah ma'am this prisoner you want to see is under strict observation we cant allow you to see him" he had a very deep country accent.

"Why not? Isn't it a prisoner's right to have visitors,?" I was getting agitated with these people.

"Please ma'am we need you to cooperate you need to leave"

"No I need to see this person" I raised my voice.

He was about to answer but someone's voice I didn't expect to hear stopped him.

"Its ok officer Earl she can see him" Stephan was still in Fallen woods surprisingly.

"What are you doing here?" Stephen asked me leading me to a interrogation room.

"I need to ask Theo something"

He raised a questioning eyebrow and folded his arms.

"Please I need it for consolation" he sighed then told me to wait. I sat down and fixed my hair.

What the hell. Keep it together girl. He  tried to e*****e you remember.

They brought him in and he definitely looked very different. He was still in shape and he had a wolf tattoo on his bicep. His hair had grown shoulder length but it still had maintained its curl pattern. His eyes once filled with life became sunken and had dark circles.

He also had strange brun marks on his temples. They had his hands and feet shackled, making him drag his feet as he walked.

When he sat down we faced each other. The tension was defining, you could cut it with a butcher knife. I looked at Stephan for some privacy.

"We will be outside" he said it more to Theo than to me.

"Theo" he looked up from his curtain of dark hair and sat back in his chair.

"What are you doing here Jane you should be out there making the most of your life unlike me who is rotting away" he looked away from me almost like it pained him to see me.

"You did this to yourself Theo why did you do what you did to me" tears pricked at my eyes. He faced me this time with a stoic exterior.

"I was just doing what I was told before I found out who I was listening to  that's when I knew I f****d up"

"Who were you listening to Theo please tell me I need to know?"

His expression changed and he started crying. It hurt to see him like this although he hurt me he was just trying to protect me. Then I repayed him by locking him in this hell hole.

I put my hands in the table signaling him to do the same. He hesitated at first but then held my hands. I leaned across the table and wiped his tears then held his hands again.

"Theo I know you would never hurt me, you are my childhood best friend we have know each other for a decade now" he looked down at the table.

"Do you now anything that could help me please you are my only hope" he looked up at me

" I'm so scared and I don't want anyone to get hurt?"

He was about to speak but  the guards came in.

"Wait please!" They tried to pulled him away but he hit one in the head and side kicked the other. He jumped over the table making me move towards the wall.

He put his head near my ear and whispered.

"Watch the files tonight or they will disappear there are to many eyes and ears everywhere"

More guards started entering the room. Theo looked over his shoulder then turned to me to see if I heard what he said.

I nodded my head then out of nowhere he kissed me and I kissed him back. The guards hit him with a baton making him grunt in pain.

"Stop it you hurting him!" I screamed Stephen walked in and carried me out with my back against his chest.

They continued hitting him until he passed out. Stephen put me down and this time we were back in the waiting room.

"Are you ok?" He asked worriedly. I furrowed my eyebrows and wiped the sweat of my forehead.

"Thank you for helping me"

"It was nothing although I might get in trouble with the sergent"

"I'm sorry about that"

"Dont sweat it you get going I'll make sure they didn't hurt him to bad"

"Thank you again" I walked out of the building and a familiar car stopped in front of me.

The window rolled down and a angry looking Scott looked at me with a disappointed look.

"Get in"
