I’ve had this story living in the back of my head, on and off, for at least a decade, and I’m so thrilled that it’s finally come to life. Magician began as a sequel/spin-off story for my m/f (with bisexual main characters) short story Sorceress—which was, way back when, my first professional story sale! It had a different title then, and it’s since been republished by JMS Books. Sorceress is Lily and Will’s story, with Lorre around as…if not quite a villain, certainly a problem. One that requires solving, and involves a dragon-transformation, and the taste of strawberries.
I always knew the sequel to Sorceress would be Lorre
