"You're not escaping this, Keren. You'll be punished exactly the way you deserve to be." I said it out loud after ordering the extra guards.
I had already filed the formal complaint at the station. Even so, an arrest warrant wouldn't be ready for another twenty-four hours.
I had barely stepped outside the station when my phone rang. Something in the bodyguard's voice told me this wasn't a routine update.
"Sorry to bother you, sir, but this is important. Miss Williams has left the hospital."
