Nathan POV
I was taken aback. It came out of nowhere. I hadn't expected to hear those words from her, not tonight, not after everything.
"Bee, I-"
"Please, Nathan. For one last time. Please don't say no." She stopped me before I could finish. I could see it in her face: she couldn't take no for an answer, not tonight. This would be her last request from me. Tomorrow she will be gone. Never to return to this house again.
I looked into her eyes and something in me ached. She looked more beautiful than I had ever seen her, even in the dim light of our room.
