Kael watched Velkan for a few seconds before speaking.
“Come. Let’s go to the office.”
Velkan smiled casually.
“That sounded way too serious for my taste.”
Even so, he followed him. Minutes later, the two entered Kael’s enormous office.
“Your office is huge. Looks like you remodeled it after I left this place a few years ago.”
Kael said nothing. He walked toward a small glass table and picked up a bottle.
He calmly poured two glasses of whiskey and handed one to his brother.
Velkan took it immediately.
“I wasn’t expecting you until next week,” Kael commented before taking a sip.
