Dinner time arrived much faster than Amaris would’ve wanted. After hearing those words from Kael, the last thing she wanted was to see him. But she also didn’t want to appear weak, so she eventually made her way down to the mansion’s enormous dining hall. The moment she walked in, her eyes immediately found Kael seated at the head of the table. Gretel was sitting to his right, while Aldo remained seated across from them, calmly drinking from a glass.
