Amaris took a deep breath and began walking toward the main entrance of the mansion.
She had no idea how she would face Kael after everything that had happened, but she had made up her mind to return and face the consequences.
She slowly pushed open the massive front door and stepped into the Crimson Moon Mansion.
The first person she saw was Amber, one of the servants. The young woman was arranging flowers on a nearby table and jumped slightly when she saw her.
“Luna Amaris!”
Amaris tried to smile, pretending that everything was fine.
“Amber… have you seen Alpha Kael?”
The young woman lowered her gaze.
“No, Luna Amaris. I haven’t seen him for a while.”
Amaris gave her a sad smile before replying,
“Thank you.”
Then she started walking deeper into the mansion.
“Luna Amaris!”
