Amaris walked out of the study without looking back. She clenched her fists tightly, fighting to hold back the tears that threatened to spill once again. The papers had been signed. Her marriage was over. She took a deep breath and started up the stairs, determined to gather her few belongings and leave the Crimson Moon mansion forever. She had barely climbed a few steps when a voice stopped her. “So, you’re finally leaving.
