(Do-Yun and King Ji-Ho his Father, are discussing loudly in Korean, as they walk along the broad hallway.)
King Ji-Ho: Who is this Sarah of yours I don't know about? That name itself is foreign. I hope you are not so much interested in her?
Do-Yun: I am, Father. I'm very much interested in her.
King Ji-Ho: What family is she from?
Do-Yun: A humble one.
King Ji-Ho: (Frowns) From what province?
Do-Yun: She is a foreigner.
King Ji-Ho: (Still frowning) What nonsense! You intend to marry a girl who is from a poor family and a foreigner?!
Do-Yun: Yes. I do intend.
King Ji-Ho: (Pauses) And wait... What's her racial identity?
Do-Yun: She's black.
King Ji-Ho: ( Shocked) What?! You intend to marry a black woman?! Haven't you heard that their hearts are as black as their skin?! Huh?!
Do-Yun: Father! That's an unfair thing to say!
King Ji-Ho: I speak the truth and you call it unfair?!
Do-Yun: Haven't you also heard that you don't judge a book by its cover?
King Ji-Ho: That statement is untrue in this case!
Do-Yun: Father, can you please hear me out? Sarah is a nice and unique person; her kind is rare! I deeply and truly love her!
King Ji-Ho: ( Glares at him) Did I just hear you say you love her?!
Do-Yun: Yes, I do...
King Ji-Ho: (He raises a brow) Do-Yun? When did you ever mention that word "love"?
Do-Yun: ( He stares intently at him)
King Ji-Ho: You can't marry a black woman, Do-Yun...
Do-Yun: Father, at least get to see her before you judge her...
King Ji-Ho: I don't need to see her before I tell you the candid truth; and that is "you are NEVER getting married to her!" ( And he storms out angrily)
Do-Yun: (Calls out to him) Racism is old-school, Father! I have the right to love whoever I want now...
