(Do-Yun and Sarah are sitting under a flower tree in bloom) Sarah: Wang-Ja, what bothers you? You don't look alright... Do-Yun: My parents... Sarah: What about them? Do-Yun: They are troublesome. They insist I must not marry you, because you're a stranger. Sarah: (Puts her head down) Then you should listen to them... Do-Yun: (Shocked) I should?! Sarah: Yes. You should. Do-Yun: Why should I? Sarah: Because they really don't mean you any harm. They are your parents... Do-Yun: (Raises her head affectionately) They do mean me harm... More harm than they could ever imagine, if they stop me from marrying you. Sarah: (Sighs) Do-Yun... (This was the first time she was calling him by his name) I really don't want you getting into any trouble with your parents... Their influence matters a lot in our lives (Nods) Yes, they do. If they don't consent of our marriage; how can it hold? Do-Yun: Don't think it can't hold! They are just my parents; they don't own my life! Sarah: (In a soft voice) I know... But... (Do-Yun cuts her short, and looks her deep in the eye) Do-Yun: Sarah... I love you so much, and not even my parents can make me think otherwise. Sarah: I love you too, Do-Yun...(She voices it with all her heart.) Do-Yun: (Smiles delightfully) Come along... (Stands up and holds her hand) Let me show you around Nature. Together, we'll make the most of it... Sarah: (Smiles and follows him) (They hold hands and stroll through the flower fields... The flowers were beautiful and fresh; their scent filled the air. They saw tiny sun birds that flew around, chirping happily. Sarah pointed to a pair of colorful parrots, and exclaimed...) Sarah: Love birds! Can you see that? (The birds were eating something from each other's beak! It was such a lovely sight to see.) Do-Yun: (Smiles) They're just like us... Sarah: (Nods continuously, still smiling) Yeah, they are... (The duo soon stopped staring at the birds, and diverted into staring at each other... And as if Do-Yun just realized something; his gaze was stronger... He then leant forward and kissed her...) (Light Fades)
