THE TENSION broke between them when West started singing off-key. He tried to stand up but eventually failed. He looks very drunk! He was even grinning like an i***t and chanting something. Luther went to the top of the table and stood there. He was dancing like he was some sort of a monkey and was grinding his ass off. Luther and West were singing and had their own lyrics to the song. Rafael just shook his head while laughing. His head is spinning, and his eyelids are getting heavier. God, if it isn’t about this bastard. He excused himself to make his way to the comfort room. He wasn’t walking straight and eventually bump into someone. Damn, his head is aching so much. f**k that alcohol. Rafael was about to enter the comfort room when his eyes settled on someone. He blinked several times to see if he was dreaming or not. God! He must be really so drunk because he is seeing his wife's features right now. He slapped his cheeks to stop himself from hallucinating. His wife left him. And she would never ever come back again. Anger arose in him. If their path would crossed again, he wanted to punish her really bad. For leaving him and for leaving their son. When he returned his eyes to the place, no one was there. You’re really a mess, he thought to himself. Rafael looked at himself in the mirror. A lot has changed. So much has changed. From his features, personality, and even the way he interacts with others, His jaw clenched and he swallowed hard. Two years and what happened before haunted him. Every day. Every f*****g day, especially when he looked at his son. He can never provide him with a complete family because of his mother’s selfishness. Fixing himself, Rafael exited himself from the powder room. Because of his hurry, he unintentionally bumped into someone. Rafael was about to scold the person when he was left dumbfounded. "I’m sorry—are you okay, sir?" That voice That innocent voice It has been awhile since he heard that. Is he dreaming again? But no! She’s eventually in front of him! Looking at him with worry in her eyes. What the f**k is she doing here? "Sir, are you okay?" You look pale." Confusion filled Rafael’s eyes as he watched his wife look at her. What the hell is happening? Why does she look at him as if he’s some sort of a stranger? Was it really a lie after all those years of being together? Is she just pretending to hoard his money? He’s confused as f**k! "Lilian." Lilian’s eyes widened when he called her. Those innocent eyes were replaced by shock. He was left dumbfounded and was processing everything. "How did you know my name?" Lilian’s brows furrowed as she looked at him with confusion. She’s still as angelic as ever. Nothing has changed with her appearance. She’s still the Lilian he knew. With those curl eyebrow, kissable lips, and those tantalizing eyes she has. Suddenly, he was eaten by anger. He’s furious. Rafael harshly grabbed both of his shoulders and looked at her intently. He heard her gasp and saw the pain inflicted on her eyes because of what he did. He couldn't think of anything else but the wants to punish his wife. He was shocked by what he did and immediately pulled away. What was he doing?! Rafael met his wife’s gaze and her expression still didn’t change. Confusion and Questioning. Why can’t she remember him? Is this one of her tactics? To actually pretend that those years were nothing? But for what? to get some of his money? He didn’t even f*****g care with every cent he had as long as she would stay, but she didn’t. Rafael grabbed his wife's hands and looked for the owner of the bar. And what the hell is she doing in a crappy bar like this? Is she suffering already? How low could she sell her dignity, huh? "S-Sir, what are you doing?" Her wife asked, and he could feel her fidgeting nervously. But Rafael didn't listened and asked for the owner of the place. When he saw the owner, he didn’t waste any time addressing his concerns. "How much is she? I’ll pay the price double, triple, or whatever the price is. Just give her to me. My secretary will pay you now. " "Sir, she’s not for sa---" He didn’t wait any longer and pulled Lilian away from that club. His friends must be waiting for him, and he didn’t even bid goodbye. He texted them that he had some urgent meetings to attend to. A cover up for his actions right now. When they reached the parking lot, he let go of her hands. He wants to punish her really badly. He wants to let her suffer until he can inflict the pain her wife has caused him. He’s livid. Clouds of questions filled his mind but he needs to remain his composure. "Who the f**k are you?" She shouted at him. "And I’m not for sale, you bastard!" But what he didn’t expect was that Lilian would close the space between them and slap him hard. He clenched his jaw with what she did. He bobbed his head to meet her eyes. When he saw his wife, there was a trace of fear in her eyes. He stepped one closer and he saw the panic in her eyes. He ignored the pain from her slap. Does she hate him that much, huh? "I-I’m sorry.. sir.." she looked panicked. He’s stepping forward as his wife is keeping a distance between them. The side of his lips rose when he saw his wife leaning against his car, with no where to go. He put both of his hands on her, each side, trapping her in his arms. Lilian's both hands laid on Rafael's chest, stopping him from getting closer furthermore. Rafael stared at those captivating eyes that always made him fall for her. But the circumstances are much different from before. He wants revenge. He crouched down, enough for him to equalize their gaze. He brought his lips closer to his lips, putting a small distance between them. Rafael smiled when Lilian was trying to avoid his attempt. Nah ah, baby. You’re not getting away this time. "W-What are you doing?" Instead of answering her, Rafael closed the distance between their lips and sealed her lips with his. It was a gentle kiss. How he missed those soft lips. Lilian didn’t respond to his kiss and stiffened at what he did. He pulled away and grinned at her. He wants to see more of her expression as he will destroy her life. To see her suffer and get his revenge. That would be good, right? But he needs to figure out first why she seems to not know him. To find out if she’s pretending or has eventually lost her memories. He will have her investigated. By hook or crook. "I'll buy you, so you'll be mine. Stop the chase, anymore, Lilian."
