Chapter 1

Tom was sleeping peacefully on his bed, covering him wholly with his blanket, it was a cold Sunday morning. Since it’s Sunday and it was a perfect holiday for anyone to sleep in till they get enough rest, it was nearly 4 in the morning his usual alarm went on, he opened his eyes and looked towards the digital alarm and turned it off. Likely he decided to sleep some more, by skipping his jogging. From looking at the nature of his room, anyone can tell he is doing some kind of white-collar job and he is good at it. As the saying goes one’s room reflects their true nature. He had a slightly little OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). As it is, he works at a private research organization. Which no common man has ever heard of. He was an assistant for the chief researcher there. The only information that anyone can see when searched for the organization he works for, is only that it works in the energy sector. He is far more secretive than anyone of his age. He was only 23 years. And he is working for that research firm for five years. He graduated from MIT when he was 15 years. He was an exceptional student, in every perspective, he was the man who had everything. But he didn’t have one thing hope, faith or whatever you call it. The one thing that keeps people continue their life even through sorrows and misfortunes. He doesn’t know who his parents are, he lived in a convent for boys in Milan for five years.

Then one day this man came to his life, which changed his misfortunes into fortunes and sorrows into happiness. He adopted him, he took him to U.S, looked after him, gave him everything he needed. he was a well-known business man in America and he doesn’t have a family or anything, that’s why he adopted tom. And he died when he was 16 leaving him as the sole heir to all his fortunes. After he died Tom studied and more than anyone could stand, which makes him so happy that, he even forgets that his father is not with him no more.

He didn’t want to involve in the business were father was involved, so he gave the power of attorney for his father’s brother in law to take care of the business. And he focused in his research following some lunatic theory of the existence of some parallel universe or some other dimension. It is more of a comic book stuff but he wanted to prove that the theory is true. So, he himself made a secret organization and made a professor he met when he was in college chief researcher and started to work under him. when he was young, he didn’t have much friends, everyone thought that he was weird, he had only one friend in school and he lost his friend in an accident which he thinks is caused by him, since then he didn’t dare to make friends and led a lonely life.
