The Council

*Caleb* I am angry, so close to being furious about whatever is out there that we don't know or understand. Meadow is quiet as she sits next to me, and her thoughts are just as conflictive. "I extended my powers as far as possible; everything was uncorrupted. I don't think the dark Angels had anything to do with it... their aura signature trace is completely absent," Amra reveals to us. I nod, taking Meadow's hand in mine. "So we can discard the obvious enemies but we are left with no other options..." I add. Caly sits in front of us and Amra gets closer, she sighs as he rests a hand on her shoulder. "If Amra can't feel anything, I am clueless to what or who can it be..." She says with frustration. Meadow nods. "Well, let's see... the previous attacks have been in minor scales, we had a lot of damage, but the one thing they all have in common is that they leave no physical or spiritual trace. What can cause destruction and no trace? I am afraid to assume anything but at this point, perhaps... something from another plane? Another dimension?" Caly nods and Amra seems a bit worried. "Can we ask Raziel if he knows anything?" I ask. Max, Alex, Craig, and Raziel have been waiting outside of the room and I am desperate for any answers. Amra shakes his head. "He doesn't have much to aid you or us with, unfortunately." "But he knew a lot before, and he helped us in the past..." Meadow adds. "He did because he got that information from the Oracles..." Amra says. "And they are now gone, dead..." Meadow releases a deep breath she was holding. "I imagined something like that happened... he indirectly mentioned this a long time ago," She manages to say and I frown, how did I miss that? "He was forgiven after a trial. As you know, I have some abilities... and I can see the truth of what he said as it happened. I saw there was danger towards you Meadow, and your children... so I think he did what he thought was best to protect you..." She says and I am still catching my breath with what I am hearing. "His intentions are true, he is a fallen Angel who has chosen to live by his own principles, and there is nothing stronger than that... I learned that the best kind of loyalty is the one done by conviction..." Amra adds. I ponder their words, and what I have just learned from Raziel. In all these years he has never failed us, yet something in me never allowed me to completely trust him. Angels have forgiven him, should I trust him? ღ ~~~~~~~ ☽ⓈⒺ☾ ~~~~~~~ ღ *Solveigh* I smile at Ian; he is playing with the pups in town and they love him. He is sometimes very sensitive. What he considers as a weakness, I find it as a blessing and his most powerful asset. He sees through me even before I feel in pain, and has helped me deal with my anxiety more than a few times. The pups are wild and rebellious, yet he manages to control them. I am sure his future will be important. I trust in this feeling, just as I know Xavier will lead our pack to greatness, and make our parents happy. I still think I am nothing compared to them; I am unstable and the only ability I have I still can't understand it. I am more like a worry to them, and this really makes my heart shrink. 'Stop feeling like that, it makes my heart ache,' Ian's voice echoes in my mind. I sigh. 'I can't help but be honest to myself brother... but don't worry, I am ok...' I smile at him and he frowns and shakes his head. I know he is about to say something back when the pups jump on him and tackle him. We all laugh and enjoy the moment. I am thankful for it. ღ ~~~~~~~ ☽ⓈⒺ☾ ~~~~~~~ ღ *Meadow* I am not sure how happy I am about this new idea, but once more, I am not sure about anything these days. I watch Vi pick up her daughter and bring her to me, just as I remember the day she came to me with wide eyes and tears of joy when she found out she was pregnant. Now, after ten years, the girl is her pride and joy. "The system is ready," Caleb says to all of us in the room, so I nudge the little girl's head and give her back to her mother, then we all take our places and he nods to Craig, who activates it. Nine holographs appear and we see the representatives of all the races. "And here we are. Ladies, Gentlemen..." He nods his head and all the others do the same. "Thank you for being part of this." The Council is starting its first session with this new method. Aeolus is frowning, he doesn't even look interested in what is this meeting about, but then again he has always been the same. Isilwen smiles quietly, she is enthusiastic about the use of the new technology, which allows her to stay in her surroundings and not mingle with the rest of us. It is nothing personal, I know. We quietly make a list of the rest of them mentally, and all have joined us. Aeneas is representing the vampyrs, he is with us in person, happy to join us and as usual, very excited about the idea of trouble. When will he ever change? Kreios is sitting in his human form, I haven't quite figured out what is he exactly, but he represents the mythical creatures that found safe haven in certain regions; sphinxes, centaurs, chimeras and even trolls, they are creatures that have behaviors more relatable to the animals and so, one only represents them all. He is smart and very sharp with his comments. He has the ability to communicate with all races, mythical or not, and understands them. My eyes wander to the Elementals, who could have been represented by only one, but they chose to be each recognized as a race on their own. Of course, Aeolus leads the wind creatures, and the Mermaid King, Ahumai, seems to hate him. This hate is something not many can see, but I have seen them before, and they don't like to be placed near each other. Durga is a majestic woman who represents the earth element, she has chosen to look like the eight-arm-woman from Hindu culture, and so she is an eye-catcher. She is beautiful, and charming even with her quiet personality. The opposite to the volatile Blayze, who represents the fire elementals, and is quite outspoken. He doesn't like to be ignored. Amrafel seems unaffected by all of what is happening, yet Caliope keeps looking carefully at everyone. They are representing the Angels, and Raziel is with them today. The Dark Angels are also present, as they felt offended by the idea of not being included. Yes, their pride plays a powerful role in how they behave and act, and they have stated from the start that all of what has been happening is none of their dos. Fardoragh, their representative, is here to make sure we know this. It is Taylar, the Fallen Angel's representative, who draws my attention last. She is calm and collected, paying attention to everyone who speaks, and hasn't said a word. I am intrigued by this. I still have trouble to remember them all, but is part of my role as a consort; Caleb and I represent the werewolves and is a role I am still feeling uncomfortable to bear. ღ ~~~~~~~ ☽ⓈⒺ☾ ~~~~~~~ ღ *Someone Else* I watch the debate as if nothing happened and it bothers me, in my times, this kind of malicious attempt would be treated as a priority. Yet they are discussing new organizations and distributions, treaties and alliances, making the recent event just a side comment. They lack vision and purpose. Perhaps is finally my time to come back and take some matters into my own hands.
