JASON I woke up with her wrapped around me. Her arm slung across my stomach, her head tucked under my chin again, our legs tangled like they’d been chasing each other all night. The blanket was halfway kicked off. Her hoodie had bunched at her hips, and one bare ankle was pressed against my shin, ice cold. My back ached like hell from the mattress, but I didn’t move. I lay there, blinking up at the pale ceiling, one hand on her waist, the other cradling the back of her neck, breathing in the scent of her.
