3: Hailey is missing

It's going to be two weeks ,since Hailey's been missing. No,ones knows anything about her. I put everyone from pack on a searching team to help us find her. How weird right I was this close to get to know ,about her wounds. and She vanished into thin air. Jassmin is so upset because of this whole ordeal. Jassmin's aunt is also not doing well. I tried to mindlinked Hailey so many time but there was no reply from.her side, What's bothering me is that Jack didn't detect any mind barrier from her wolf side. That's conclude only one thing that she lost her wolf or Her wolf is so weak that she can't even put a wall in her mind.

My father former Beta Shaun is not even remorsely worried for his disappeared daughter, just cussing at her and yelling she is a b***h and w***e .Andrew and his dad are also not doing much. It's look like they were expecting Hailey to be gone.

Hailey is very nice girl, looking out for everyone.I remember saving her from Samuel hands, her uncle. I don't know what he was going to do with her , but after saving her she repeatedly said thanks to me and appreciated my help. I never got a chance to question her about that situation. There are so many things, I have ignored about Hailey. Her wolf Zariya is so pretty ,just like Hani,Jassmin's wolf. For moment I thought about Hailey's wolf aura similar to mine or any other Alpha. But then I neglected this whole theory on a basis of she is a Beta's daughter, so her wolf can

be a bigger and can have strong aura.But now I think clearly her wolf and Jassmin wolf's has alot of similarities. Hailey loved visiting Jassmin's pack ,but when she turned 8years old her father strictly restricted her visitation to Blood Moon Pack. She was crying mess that time and it took me several minutes to calm little Hailey. She always expressed how she loved uncle Michael and wished he was his dad. I never seriously try to know her problems. The Rumours about her being w***e changed everyone's perspective about her. I never said anything or tried to stop these rumors because inside my heart I knew she is not like the Rumours are about her.I failed her as an Alpha .Suddenly I got a mindlink from Logan my Beta.He told he has some news to share with me. After knocking lightly on a door he entered, looking all anxious and sweaty and blood splattered on his shirt and face.

"What is with this all blood,are you fine and Why this grim look on your face ?"

I sternly asked him and in return he gave me his famous eye roll.Ugh I want to strangle him but nah he's a good friend.

"Nothing big, just killed some rogues. Border patrol were telling me about some rogues lingering around our pack for weeks, so I thought to pay them some visit and When I reached over the border , there were so many rogues just gazing at our pack."

I knew Logan wasn't kidding right now ,because of how serious he was.

"Why didn't you mindlinked me or maybe Ron, we could have helped you out and you said they were staring at our pack then why there is blood stains on your shirt. Did you attack them and why didn't you ask them to move."

I was confuse at Logan behaviour as to why he attacked the rogues when they were just staring at pack .He should have warned them to move from that place. Logan scoffed at my words.

"What you think I did? I linked Ron and he came to help me. Firstly I politely asked them to go but they didn't moved a inch. Then I warned them and still got no response from them . That's where h*ll broke out. James our head warrior went near to them to give them some foods we thought they wanted but instead of taking foods ,one of the rouge attacked him..."

I am literally shocked and furious at him right now.

"Why didn't you linked me ?You are supposed to tell your Alpha every information. Damn it Logan, it was matter of life and death ....."

Logan stopped me and told about the whole situation and he also included the that many of our strong warriors including Ron is in hospital.

"Rhodney they are healing very slowly that's why we opted for a hospital. You won't believe me but those rogues weren't normal, their eyes were bloody red including their sclera and pupil.For a moment I got scared from them"

My wolf also got restless after hearing him. I have never heard of it.

"Are they gone or still there and how many of our men are in a hospital?

Logan mindlinked the pack doctor to get a information about the situation.

"Well doctor said most of them are healed and some of them are healing and about those rogues, it's look like someone was controlling them ,one

of them growled at others and they left that place while we all were fighting. They all ran away. "

Honestly, I am shaken up right now .My wolf is also astounded by this news.

"Logan arrange a pack meeting.I want everyone present for a meeting. Make sure to double the patrol and check the storage and tell me how many of guns and silver bullets do we have? Got it? I'am not sure what's going to happen but it's better to be safe than sorry. "

Logan mindlinked everyone about the orders, I have given him. he was going to leave the room when he remembered to tell me about Hailey.

He told me that one of our man saw her in another town, working as a waitress in café. She wasn’t looking good and didn't wanted to return.

"Alright Logan go do what I told you. After meeting, I will take Jassmin along with me to go and see Hailey. She better have reason to break a link of a pack and go rogue without even telling her Alpha."

It's been two weeks since I've left the pack and took a shelter in a new town. Right now I have two things on my mind to do .First complete my University ,second to find a help for my wolf Zariya . I can't believe I left the pack, Will their be any one worrying about me .I am sure mom will be upset for me for leaving the pack.

"Hailey there was nothing left to love in that pack . Stop worrying about that rotten pack, I'm sure you will have bright future with or without me."

My wolf scolded me and she's right too. I have to atleast try to be happy. Well right now I am on my way to small restaurant to attend my shift. I have decided to work part-time job.

"Zariya do you think they will find us and force us to come back to the pack?"

I asked my wolf feeling anxious all over again. I don't want to go back. This feeling has ruined my peaceful sleepy nights.

The restaurant was fully packed with customers. When I entered in, instantly I went to staff room to change my clothes into uniform. After changing , I went to take some orders and cleaned some tables. Day went quite peacefully until some new customers came .Their bulking and tan appreances terrified me and Furthermore they were wolves.

"Zariya are they here to take us? What If Andrew sent them for us .Oh mother Moon safe me please......"

My wolf Zariya also got alerted, when she sniffed the air but told me not to worry.

"Hailey they are not here for us .Just calm down, take a deep breath. We are fine and beside they can't detect a wolf in you ,I'm extremely weak. So control your emotions. "

Zariya words did assure me some peace and Indeed they haven't noticed me .

My colleague Alex went ahead and took their orders. While I got busy with washing utensils.

25 minutes were left for my shift to end. I just wanted to go home and finish my assignments and have a good rest. But nothing works out as you plan.

As I went to clean the last table that was assigned to me . I noticed that those bulky wolves were still in a restaurant ,talking and laughing about some stuff .I ignored them and continued my work ,but one of them said something ,which instantly made my body shiver.

"No it's can't be happening, What will happen to uncle Michael and his pack members? You have to tell him about this attack. "

My wolf Zariya got so frustrated by those bulking wolves.

Those men were still talking and were oblivious to their surroundings, they were unaware that someone else also knows about their plan and soon they will be in deep sh*t.

Hailey broke into sweat because of how nervous she was, unknowingly she started beating her lower lip, her heart was beating in an abnormal pace ,as if it will come out of her ribcage.

"Hailey why are you still here and why you look like you have seen a ghost. "

Alex calling my name startled me so bad that I thought, I'm still stuck in my father basement.

"Nothing Alex,I was just going to leave restaurant, I'm feeling a mild headache. It will be fine once I get to rest. See you tomorrow . Take care, bye."

I was blabbering, I was in haste to reach to uncle Michael's pack, to inform them about an incoming attack.I have to alert them so they can fight them back.

I left the restaurant and ran back to my house . Its very small house but I feel little safe in here. After taking my bike keys from house, I hopped on my second hand motorbike and started my journey towards

I never imagined myself spending my future without my love, my Luna, never. After her death , I was left devastated for so many years. For so many years I was in depression and was only working for my pack

because as an Alpha, I had some responsibility towards my people. Everything in my life was started looking dull and grey. I was in grief and in unbearable pain. Not only I lost my wife but my child to.

How excited I was to be father of twins , but fate had different plans for my life.

In my own misery, I abondoned my only child who survived but she lost her other half ,her, twin sister .

I forgot to be a father my daughter needed. I neglected the fact that I wasn't only one who lost his loved one's ,my daughter also lost her mother and her twin sister.

My love Sara , gave birth to twins, fraternal twins and both babies were girls. But Sara and my other baby girl couldn't survive that day .

Jassmin was the only one crying in that room. For 7 years ,Zoey the head omega took care of Jassmin .As if fate wanted me to take care of my daughter , one day rogues attacked our pack and Jassmin got injured during the attack. That day,I felt someone just pierced my heart.

My little flower was hurt so badly .I killed every single rouge that day who entered my pack.

After that, I started to be attentive around Jassmin. I always wonder, if

my other daughter was alive , would she be calm and patient and sweet, unlike Jassmin who is like a wave of tsunami where ever she go, excited and impatient and dramatic girl,but she is the most precious flower of my life. She looks like me but she has Sara's eyes Hazel colour with gold flecks . She the most beautiful and stunning woman and amazing daughter.

I was in deep thoughts when my Beta came inside with my third in command. I have little idea why they are here. David spoke, breaking me from my thoughts.

"Michael we have some bad news regarding Jassmin ..."

"Rhodney found his fated mate and he wants her to be pregnant."

Patrick spoke in hastily while cutting David's word .David growled at him for taking away his news.

while they were bickering, I was standing there shocked, thinking about Jassmin." Was she hurt when Rhodney brought his mate"?

Jassmin and Rhodney has great friendship when they were in college.

How I wished for them to be a fated pair, but Moon goddess had other plans for. When Rhodney confirmed that Jassmin is not her fated mate, I refused them to be in a relationship.

Jassmin was rebellious kid growing up and when I refused them to be together, she threatened breaking of her father-daughter relationship with me.

I really wanted them to meet their fated mates ,to see what fate has locked for them, and to feel the magical bond with their mate .

I knew Rhodney and Jassmin were not found of Mother Moon ,so they were against my wishes.

Their young rebellious selves decided to get marry ,and in fit of fury I banished my little flower from her house, her own pack. I thought she will understand but no matter what I said to her ,she ignored my every word and went to live with Rhodney ,in his pack.

It's been three years, since I last met my little flower. Only getting her information through spying on her.

How I wish Jassmin could come back to me , to her pack, to her home.

"Can't you man up a little and take first step to call her .It's clear we both are missing our little pup."

My wolf snorted at me. Horus my wolf has always been close to Jassmin's wolf., adoring her and always spoiling her and even taught her how to hunt.

"I can't ,she hates me Horus. How can I ask her to come back. I didn't supported her when she needed me the most."

My desperation seeping through my bond with Horus.

"What if she's waiting for you to make a first move. Just call her and tell our little pup how much we love her and wants to be in her life . Just one call, please Michael. "

After listenting to Horus, I have decided to take a first and final step to welcome her in my life again.

"You both stop fighting like a kids. I'am going to call Jassmin. I hope she accepts my call ".

Both David and Patrick were shocked , but at the same time they were satisfied with my decision. Encouraging me to call her fast.

I walked towards my table where my mobile was. I was this close to call her when I notice David received some mindlink and got all tensed.

After cutting his mindlink , he told me that some woman who is badly bruised wants to meet me and wolves on boarder patrolling wants my permission to let her in pack.

"David tell Evan to bring that woman in my office as soon as possible. "

Around 20 minutes Evan entered the room with a girl along with Liam.

Evan and Liam are future Beta and Gamma of this pack .

A girl came and stood at front of Evan and Liam. Now that she is at front of me, I can clearly see the bruises on her and her torn clothes.

she looks familiar but I dont know where and how I have ever met her.

I was going to ask her questions, when she startled me by hugging me so hard and started crying on my chest.
