Kendra POV
I leave Bradley in the cabin while I check on Alissa and Chuck. I hope they are both okay. I cannot wait to tell them how well Bradley is doing. I cannot believe how unbelievably happy I am right now.
I knock on the cabin door before I enter. No one says anything. I decide to go in and check on the two of them. Chuck meets me as I come into the kitchen.
“How is she?” I ask him.
“She is okay. Alissa is no spring chicken. That blow from the stun g*n was hard on her. I think her shoulder is broke from the fall. I will take her to the doctor when she wakes up,” Chuck says.
“I only wanted to check on the two of you; I do not want to intrude,” I say.
“You are family now. You will never be an intrusion,” Chuck says.
I hug Chuck. “Thank you for saying that. I feel like I belong
