Prescott Student Mourned
Beloved Teen’s Death Rocks Community
PRESCOTT, Az. — Thomas James Templeton, a senior at Prescott High School, died Friday evening after a car accident left him in critical condition earlier in the week. He was sixteen.
At around 11:40 PM on Tuesday, Templeton was driving Southwest on Pioneer Parkway when his car veered off-road and struck a hillside just past Commerce Drive, authorities said. Templeton was airlifted to Yavapai Regional Medical Center West, where he remained in critical condition until his death. He never regained consciousness.
“The doctor said the impact was instantaneous. He didn’t feel a thing,” Allen Templeton, Tom’s father, said. “I’m grateful for that.”
