It was really a long way for us to get there. We had stopped at least three times already just to get some rest.
We could have arrived there a lot faster if we ran, but we could not do that. As it will make quite a noise thus making the monsters in the area notice our presence. If that happens, it will waste much of our time and energy just to fight the monsters.
That’s why we chose to be stealth all the way towards the mountain.
Both of us didn’t talk that much, all were focused on the task at hand. Even if we are resting, there’s no conversation as one of us will stay on guard while the other one will be sleeping.
But that’s fine for the both of us, as we clearly understand each other pretty well… Even if we don’t communicate at this moment.
