Finally, we reached the bottom, indeed it was quite dark here but at least we could still see our surroundings even though it was not much.
Natra then told me to follow me closely as I might get lost in this part. He also told me that there are indeed some monsters here but not that powerful.
“Shouldn’t you guys kill the monsters in this area?”
“We could but the boss didn’t want that, the reason why we kept the monsters alive was because of the prisoner… it makes them not think of ever escaping this place.”
It seems that they’re engraving fear into the prisoner's heart, to make sure they’re bound here forever. But knowing that the monsters were easier to beat, I guess this route could be used when I tried to help the prisoners escape.
