Suddenly, we pulled up to Red Robin. Red robin," Yum, I started to sing. My mom looked at me," weird what is in the commercial?" Have you not seen how I said yes? She said," I just do not like the commercials. But the food is quite OK. My mom said," Quite OK." I said You mean delicious as hell. My mom looked at me and said, “We did not say that word. Sorry, mom," I said. We parked the car and I almost ran to the door. For two reasons, one because I was so hungry I could eat a cow, and two of Red Robin's moms were favorite restaurants in the entire world. Before I could walk in, my mom yelled," Do not go in there, Tara, you have to wait for me. What I said. My mom said, You heard me You do not know where we are sitting. I have a special table for you. Fine," I said," and I stood there and waited. She came up and opened the door and said Graduate first. We walked through both doors and there it was. It seemed to it is not hard to miss a table with green and pink balloons tied around it and a banner hanging that said Happy graduation, s***h birthday Tara. And as we got closer, I realized there were 12 more green and 12 pink roses in the middle of the table. What the heck is this mom?" I asked as I snapped and turned around and looked at her. I thought everything was going to be low-key and then my aunt came from behind me and laughed and said If you think your mom could ever keep this low-key, you are funny. Great is my aunt Melinda, my mom’s sister. I do not like her very much and her kids, OMG, they do not know how to listen. You turn recessed still when they run around the tables screaming and yelling. It is embarrassing. Better as good or better than that means different, not better. I looked around to see if I could find the kids. Then I took a deep breath. They were here. Hi Aunt Melinda, I said. Hi darling," she said. She threw her arms around my neck and gave me a big hug. Happy graduation day/birthday," Thanks," I said, and then we all three sat down. The waiter came up and sent me. I started you all off with a drink. Of course, I made Mountain Dew and my mom and my aunt made coffee. Asked, seconds later, he put the drinks on the table and then asked, “Are we ready or do we need a few more minutes? My mom looked at me and said, “Are you ready? I am not in my head. Yes, I knew what I wanted from the start, the moment I saw the red Robin sign. I want the Swiss mushroom burger add egg. The guy wrote that down and said," OK," and then you ladies, my mom and aunt ordered salads. We all sat there and talked for a little while about the graduation and how I was Valley, Victorian, and how everyone was so excited for me. Then my aunt and mom started talking about it. I have siblings and her kids. I just avoided getting out at that moment. I started thinking about that moment at the mall with Jethro. I mean, what was that about? He’s never shown any science he’s scared before, and then we had that scene. I’ve got to figure it out. I’ve got to talk to him, but I’m so nervous and scared of that. I don’t want to, but it’s OK. I will be leaving in three days anyway. Lost in my thoughts about Jethro and me and how we could be or not be one day. I heard my mom tap on the table, Tara, she said. I shook my hand like I was snapping out of a dream, and you said yes. Yes, mom, what can I do for you? I asked if you’re ready to go home, OK Tara? They both asked. Yes, I’m fine. I said I’m just overlooking the exciting day I had. Great," my mom said, and that was it as she wiped her hands back-and-forth. There were no more great surprises. I said, Let us go home and go through all the clothes. We got. Mom's OK, she said, and off we went. We got to my house, and I noticed there were cars parked around the block somehow. I'd seen them before, but it didn’t do it to me because they weren’t in front of my house, so maybe I had not seen them. I unlocked my front door and walked away in surprise. All my friends jumped out and yelled at me. I jumped so fast. I felt like it was in a jump out of my chest. I did not expect this, I should have thought about this. My mom loves surprises. Oh my gosh, thank you," I said to everybody after I took a few minutes to collect my breath. They all came up and gave me a hug while saying happy birthday graduation, Tara, thanks. I said so many times that I have lost track.
