I lay on my side watching the door. I pushed myself up to sitting got halfway there and changed my mind again, lying back down. I checked my watch again 7.10 she had been gone 4 hours. Why in god's name had she gone like that she didn't even take her f*****g shoes! For once I was pretty sure I hadn't actually done anything wrong, though I never had been able to fully grasp what was going on in that girl's head. I mean, I know we had probably violated several of her biblical teachings.
