I parked the car as close as I dared. It was far enough into the trees, enough that I could at least be sure that it wouldn't be seen from the road. I hesitated for just a moment before I turned and ran into the trees. I moved on instinct, not even needing to seek out scents in the air, I could feel them nearby. As I drew closer I could hear the sounds of them. Multiple voices snarls and shouts combined with jeering. I took a deep breath and steadied my nerves for just a second before I strode into the clearing before me into a scene from my nightmares. The scent of blood hit me. It was hanging in the air a sticky coppery scent heavy and rich. My boys were spread throughout the trees, most in human form wearing just jeans with bottles in their hands, jeering like hooligans clearly amped up
