I looked down in the dark damp tunnel and was ashamed that I gave a small shiver. I looked back at Scott, who nodded in encouragement. I descended down the steps. The weak morning sun was soon blocked out. Scott flicked a switch, and an electric overhead light flicked on the bulb, giving sparse light to the underground tunnel. I looked at Scott, who pointed to the door at the end of the short tunnel; there was a large iron key in the lock. The key turned easily and I pushed the heavy door open. My nose wrinkled as an unpleasant scent engulfed me. It was a combination of damp, blood and unwashed bodies. There was a single weak light bulb illuminating the room. It was a large damp stone room that contained four cot-style beds and empty fast food wrappers littered the floor. Huddled together
