Edith took Caden's outstretched hand and smoothly slid onto the motorcycle behind the vampire. He nodded to Miles and Asher, then began to leave the cottage.
“Where are we going?" Edith asked wrapping her hands around Caden's muscular waist.
“To get a drink," Caden said matter-of-factly. “The others will come shortly."
He placed a hand over hers and they drove smoothly down roads and through the small city until they reached The Roaming Minstrel.
Getting off the bike, Caden removed his helmet and looked at the sky. He coughed.
