4. Taking up Alpha's Duty

After One Year......

* Gabriela's POV *

I became 17 last week. Evan and my life is running smoothly till now. Although he doesn't get intimate with me anymore. He also ask my whereabouts and if I am fine or not. I think he is just nervous. But I do not know why I think he just stays away from me.

He did not kiss me after that night on my 16th birthday. I also asked him if there was any matter he wants to discuss with me. But he denied immediately. I just feel like he has some issues. But he is not discussing it with me.

It has also been a year since I saw Valerie. He did not come here any more. I do not know what is the matter with him. My dad told me he was busy with his pack matters. As he was the newly appointed Alpha , so he needed to take more precautions and had to prove himself to his pack. But today he will come here. All Alphas will be here today for the meeting. So I am sure that he will come too.

I had completed all my training as I was much stronger than most of the werewolfs , so I had no problems to complete my training. My dad has arranged a get together party with all neighborhood packs. As our pack was the number one strongest pack in our region. All others Alpha had to come here , to show their respect.

Today my dad will announce me as our pack's Alpha. Although my crowing celebration will be held after my 18th birthday. But my dad was feeling I should take responsibility as soon as possible. He also told me may be I will have to prove myself today. I have prove that I am capable enough to run the biggest and strongest pack. As Male Alphas are egoistic. So they might have problems to accept me as the Alpha of the most strongest pack. And I was absolutely ready to show them my ability.

~ Time Skipped To The Get Together / Meeting ~

* Carter's POV * (Gabriela's Father)

All the alpha from neighborhood had come. Now it was my princess turn to enter. I know my princess had the ability to run my pack. I am not saying it because she is my daughter. I am saying it because she is blessed by Moon Goddess itself. Moon Goddess has blesses her with extreme power. Her wolf is the strongest she wolf as far as I know. No one has been able to defeat her. Even myself an Alpha of the strongest pack have not be able to defeat her.

I was afraid may be my princess will not get the love of her mate. But when she told me Evan was her mate , I saw happiness in her eyes. The sparkles were blooming in her eyes. I just knew it my princess was so happy. And I was happy for her. Although I thought may be Valerie will be the mate of my princess. Cause I saw some kinds of feeling in his eyes for my daughter. But Gabby was happy to have Evan as her mate. As long as my daughter is happy I have no issues with anyone.

As I was focused on my internal thoughts. I heard some noises as the entrance door open. And there comes my precious daughter , my beloved princess , the future Alpha of the Full Moon Pack Alpha Gabriela with her mate the future Beta of the Full Moon Pack Beta Evan.

I can clearly see happiness in her eyes when she looks at Evan. I asked her to sit beside me and she gladly oblige it. She sits to my right side and Evan sits beside her.

I clear my throat and stand up , " I am glad that you all respectful Alphas and betas come to this meeting on a short period of notice. As you all know this is Gabriela , my only child. She will be 18 next year , but I want her to take her responsibilities as Alpha from tomorrow onwards. I am fully convinced that she will be more responsible and perfect Alpha than me. "

I could hear all the gasped from most of the Alphas and betas. But some were not even surprised.

Suddenly the Alpha of Blue Moon Pack stands up. He was 23 this year. He had been performing his duty nicely till now.

Alpha Eric of Blue Moon Pack said , " Alpha Carter , we have no doubt that you are one of the best Alpha and you will not take any risk to bring any pack into trouble. But I do not think a girl can handle the biggest and strongest pack. She looks so delicate and fragile. "

Suddenly Valerie said , " Alpha Eric , it is not good to have discrimination between man and woman. Although she is a girl , but you are not aware of her ability. Yet you are insulting her. " After hearing Valerie's words Alpha Eric's faced turned black.

" I agree with what Alpha Valerie said. You do not know how much capable is my daughter. You do not know how much efforts my daughter give to her training. How she wants her pack to be more glorious and prosperous. " , I said to Alpha Eric.

" Your words have to power to prove that she will be the capable Alpha. I think if your pack be attacked , she will hide in her room cryingly. She will not even be able to kill a rabbit. How will she kill all those rouges out there?! " , Alpha Eric said scornfully.

Before I could say something , Gabriela stands up abruptly. Her eyes were getting dark as her wolf was trying to get control.

" You never saw my fighting skills. Yet you are here to determine if I am able to kill any rabbit and rouge or not. Here I think that you will not be able to stand for 10 minutes against me. " , Gabriela said confidently.

" Huh! This delicate wolf thinks that she will be able to fight to me. Not just fight she will even defeat me. What a joke!!! That is too within 10 minutes. Girl , are you out of your mind?! Do you even know what are you saying?! " , Alpha Eric said with disdain to Gabriela.

Now I am sure Alpha Eric will not be able to go back with his head high. My princess will not let him leave without a defeat.

" I am well aware of what I am saying , Alpha Eric. If you have doubts towards me , I can show you my capabilities. So do you accept this challenge?! " , said Gabriela proudly.

Now it will get interesting. Maybe we will be able to have some entertainment. My guests will have some fun today.
