As usual on Kyle's birthday, my regular alarm woke me up, saying, "It's your best friend birthday today, time to wake up."
I should have groaned at the voice of the alarm that woke me up from a beautiful dream I was having; I saw myself engaging Lisa, and she is about to answer.
I stood up from the bed and did a little exercise before going into the bathroom to paste.
After everything, I searched for my phone in the bedroom to call Kyle and wish him the very best today.
"Hey, dude," I said over the phone.
